1. Scope and developer information
ShubhFrame (“ShubhFrame”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides tools for creating personalised image and video content using frames, templates, text, stickers, effects, music, animations, and user-selected media. This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, collected, used, shared, retained, and deleted when you use ShubhFrame.

2. Information we access or process
Account and authentication data
- Email address, authentication status, email-verification status, and a unique account identifier such as a Firebase user ID.
- Security and sign-in information needed to authenticate your account. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not visible to ShubhFrame in plain text.
User content
- Photos, images, audio, text, stickers, template selections, animation settings, and other content you choose to add to a project.
- Project configuration, rendering instructions, generated videos, and temporary files required to create or download your output.
- ShubhFrame does not automatically access your entire photo or media library. Access occurs when you grant permission and select content.
Device, diagnostic, and notification data
- App version, device platform, basic technical information, crash or error details, and operational logs used to diagnose failures and protect the service.
- Push-notification token and delivery status when you enable notifications for cloud video completion or other service messages.
- Network information such as IP address may be processed automatically by hosting, security, storage, and delivery providers.
Permissions
Depending on your device and the feature you use, ShubhFrame may request access to photos, videos, audio or storage, and notifications. These permissions are used only for the feature you select. ShubhFrame does not require precise location for its core functionality.
3. How we use information
We process information to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and manage your account;
- open, edit, render, store, and deliver projects and generated media;
- download templates, frames, effects, stickers, music, or other assets you select;
- send service notifications, including cloud-render completion or failure messages;
- provide support, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Where applicable, the legal basis for processing may include performing the service you requested, your consent, compliance with law, and our legitimate interests in securing and improving ShubhFrame.
4. Service providers and data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose limited information to service providers that process data on our behalf to operate ShubhFrame. Depending on the deployed configuration, these providers may include:
- Google Firebase for authentication, account services, and related infrastructure;
- Cloudflare for API routing, security, and cloud workflow coordination;
- GitHub Actions for automated cloud-rendering workflows;
- IDrive e2 or another configured object-storage provider for temporary project inputs and generated outputs;
- Expo and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push-notification delivery;
- Render for hosting this public legal website.
Service providers may process data in accordance with their own terms and privacy notices. We require access to be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards.
5. Storage and security
ShubhFrame uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections where supported, access controls, authentication, and restricted cloud credentials. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Content processed locally on your device remains subject to your device security and backup settings. Content submitted for cloud video generation is transmitted to the configured cloud services to complete the requested render.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Account data: retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymised after a valid account-deletion request, unless limited retention is legally required.
- Cloud-render files: project uploads and generated outputs may be retained for up to 30 days to complete processing, permit download, investigate failures, and perform secure cleanup. Files may be deleted sooner through automated cleanup or when replaced by a newer job.
- Operational and security logs: may be retained for up to 90 days, or longer when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, security incidents, legal claims, or service failures.
- Device-local content: remains on your device until you remove it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app, subject to device backups.
When an account is deleted, we delete or request deletion of personal data associated with the account from systems and service providers under our control. Some limited records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or backup integrity. Retained data is isolated from ordinary use and removed when the applicable retention need expires.

7. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of your personal data. You may also:
- deny or revoke device permissions through Android settings;
- disable push notifications through device settings;
- delete projects and downloaded outputs from your device;
- request permanent account deletion through the app or the external deletion page.

8. Children’s privacy
ShubhFrame is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without the consent required by applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal data may contact us to request deletion.
9. International data processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on contractual, organisational, or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when ShubhFrame features, providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The “Last updated” date will identify the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated within the app or through another appropriate notice.
